Spidey Web Design is an internet solutions provider specialising in website design and development.
Having previously worked with Spidey Web Design, I was asked by the agency to redesign their branding including their logo and website. Whilst I was given guidelines to keep the designs loyal to certain branding (cartoon spider and spider web) I was given as much freedom and scope to create an new theme and style. The completed project now see's Spidey Web Design as a modern, mature, but yet fun and quirky brand.

Summer 10
Suffolk Choi Kwang Do is the fastest growing martial art in the world and this is the first school for CKD in Suffolk
Working alongside with web design agency Spidey Web Design, I designed the logo and artwork for the client's website.
We built a strong relationship with the client to ensure that the brand and design reflected their goal and personality.

"You Drive me BANANAS!" (far left)
A fun and quirky birthday card designed for my girlfriend, Jodie. I wanted a bright colourful illustration of a chimp quite simply going bananas! Designs were hand drawn and finished in Illustrator.
Xmas 09
Merry Christmas (right)
Sorry Jodie, I had to show off this one! Yes, it is indeed the wonderful Jodie with her organic fuelled sleigh rocketing across the street houses. Designs were hand drawn and finished in Illustrator.

Summer 09
A newly established PR company, Select and Promote, approached me to design their logo, branding and website.
Following the client's requirements to create a clean, simple and modern brand, I designed a logo and website using a theme based on the concept of 'selecting' and 'promoting'.

Spring 09
Just for fun, all illustrations were hand drawn, scanned, and finished in Illustrator using paths and gradients. Keep your eyes pealed for more random animal cartoons.

Locks 4 Vans Ltd is a UK leading vehicle security company that designs and manufactures locking equipment.
Working closely with the client I redesigned their exisiting website with a fresh look and feel to help promote their brand. The redesign involved creating new artwork and developing the website from scratch in HTML and CSS.
Summer 08
4girlz is a former preteen girls magazine. I was responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the website.
The website adapted the bright, colourful and quirky styles from the actual magazine. The purpose of the website was to deliver exclusive news, interactive competitions, film trailers, product reviews to encourage fans to follow the brand.
Summer 08
iSociety was a magazine insert featured in the former 4girlz magazine and was marketed towards the early teens audience. The website was infact an extention of the magazine insert and featured celebrity news and interviews, product reviews, film trailers and competitions.
The website was designed with similar styles and typography as seen in the magazine insert.
Summer 08
Angels at Play is a Hertfordshire based nursery group. As the former web designer I created the website using a light and cheerful theme to reflect the personality and nature of the brand.
The website once linked to a sister group called Children’s Centre (as seen in gallery), which provided additional services throughout the county.
Spring 08
eazy beezy is a former personal website offering graphic and web design services to small businesses. The name eazy beezy derived from my name - 'Batt-er-bee', and the theme was based on a concept of dripping honey and eccentric illustrations.
Whilst I worked with a number of clients using the eazy beezy brand, I decided to call it a day since the style was not something I was looking for. After eazy beezy I decided to freelance using my own actual name.
Winter 07
'round the world Photography (RTWP) was a personal website that featured some of my favourite photography taken from around the world.
RTWP was designed in Flash to achieve a very clean and slick look and feel complete with smooth transitions and interactive galleries.
Sadly RTWP is no longer live, but all my photography can be browsed in the photography section on this website.
